Market Value Systems was started in 1985 in San Francisco by Marv Downey. He had been working in the retail computer business in Berkeley since 1979. This was where he first saw the need for products, consulting, and support services designed for the small business professional office environment – especially as a single point of contact instead of a collection of “specialists” (network, computer hardware, software, etc.). We are now based in Marin and providing service throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area.
